Hitler was Catholic. He viewed the Jews as "Christ killers", and justified his extermination of the Jews by saying that he was doing it for Christ, because Christ would have wanted it. That is no lie, it's right there in his speeches. He believed in God. He believed that Jesus was the son of God, that Jesus had died for his sins, and that it was his duty to avenge that death. Whether his conclusions were correct, the basic assumptions were based upon the tenets of Christianity. He was a Christian. Later in life, he expressed athist views, then flipflopped again.

Those who obeyed his orders were Christians, and there is a lot of evidence for that.

As an atheist, knowing that Stalin was an atheist concerns me not in the least. I know that he didn't murder people because they disagreed with his atheism. No, he murdered people because they disagreed with him. Stalin Russia was a cult of personality not unlike any religion.

Many theists can do the same regarding Hitler and the fact that he was a Christian. Hitler's genocidal rampage certainly was predominantly as a means to consolidate power and to propagate fear. But there is always the undercurrent of anti-Semitism which was rampant in Catholicism and Christianity in Europe for centuries.

Admitting that Hitler was a Catholic and a Christian is tantamount to admitting that Christianity is evil for some people. The only thing they can do is stick their fingers in their ears scream.

For troll bomb, a quote from Mein Kampf: ""Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

For Colin M: "I, for my part, acknowledge another precept which says that man must deal the final blow to those whose downfall is destined by God." Speech to the Reichstsag 06 April 1942

Many Christians declare that Hitler became an atheist because it form of feels inconceivable that anybody who has a relationship with a benevolent, only and merciful God may be to blame of such atrocities. The Vatican had a complicated relationship with Hitler. interior the early Thirties, Hitler became seen to be a barrier to the spread of ecu Communism. hence, the Vatican signed a %. with Hitler (the Reichskonkordat) in 1933 with the intention to confirm that Hitler would not persecute Christians in go back for the Vatican's silence on Nazi politics. there have been, of direction, many Christians (rather Dietrich Boenhoffer) who actively adverse Hitler. finally, Hitler ended up persecuting clergymen and tried to nationalize German churches - that is yet another reason that many declare Hitler became an atheist. In nationalizing the churches, Hitler proven the harmful ability faith has for being a mechanism of state administration.

I have not read Mein Kampf and I'm not going to. But once I started to read another book called the Spear of Destiny which shows some other spiritual things Hitler was into. I think the Nazis wanted to make Nazism attractive for as many people as possible, so besides doing occult stuff they also planned to reinterpret Christianity to fit in with their ideas. Praise God they didn't suceed in this plan.

When a car is in a garage does it(the car) a garage too? NO, so someone who claims to be a "TRUE" Christian does not mean that they are actually a "True" Christian.

The Nazi's(including Hilter) were very much into the black arts also known as the Occult, and there are many proven facts and documents/witnesses who can prove that they Nazi's were highly involved in the occult.

True Christianity is all about love and serving one another. Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost, and everywher He went he showed love and compassion to the weak, poor, diseased, lonely, depressed, and the outcasts of society. DID THE NAZI'S SHOW THIS TOWARDS PEOPLE? NO, they first killed of the Blacks/African race and the gypsies. They sentenced millions of people to death. They carried out their father's desires, their father being Satan, whom wants every human being dead.

Satan hates the Jews more than any race on earth, because they are God's chosen people.

Hilter believed in himself as the savior of the German people, he claimed to be a god, but in fact, was nothing.

Hitler burnt humans in his ovens, mostly after they were dead, christians burnt people alive at the stakes for hundreds of years. Same thinking to me...definitely makes Hitler a Christian. An atheist would have made love to all those beautiful women ... not tried to kill them. Women's legs are highways to heaven..what a waste to burn them in an oven or at a stake. Hitler was Roman Catholic and definitely not an atheist. He was too uneducated to be an atheist.....but he killed in most instances more humanely than Christians before him did...he loved the guillotine and had 16,000 people beheaded and he liked to watch the heads roll personally..his gas chambers were also a major improvement on the Inquistion's Iron Mary torture device and other techniques like racking, wheeling and quartering..all specialties of Christians. In fact he did not live up to the Christian code of cruelty at all, as using bullets and gas was almost magnanimous in comparison to Vlad's impaling of 40,000 muslims, and the only way he bested them was in the numbers he dispatched. What a good christian he was...they can have him all to themselves....he's right at home there among the christians, invoking a god in their purpose.

This is clearly a Ad Hominem Fallacy. If someone as hated as Hitler is said to be an atheist, then all atheists must be bad. The sad thing is that Hitler wasn't even an atheist. He was a catholic.

They do the same thing with Einstein. Theists claim Einstein believed in god, which is false... he was a pantheists at the best. But, if they claim Einstein believed in god, he being the most intelligent people ever to live, then that would make them (theists) automatically intelligent. Charming.

Saying he was a christian didn't make him one. his actions will prove his claim. hitler killed christians who did not agree with him. if you would read up a little on how he pressured the church to support him, how some christians objected and were persecuted by hitler, it would give you a better perspective. in addition, you may want to read something that defines Christianity. Saying that Hitler was a Christian is to buy into and perpetrate the lie Hitler started.

Don't blame it on the "Christians", so to speak. That would be judging. LOL! Really, a majority of Christians keep to themselves. There are some who need the attention to try and prove things of the past, irrelevant to things of today. Every christian is different, just like everyone Jewish, or Catholic, etc..is different in there true beliefs as well. Some push harder than others, like politicians. What difference does it matter to us anyhow, Hitler is the only one that needed to know his personal relationship with God. Hitler was under allot of pressure to do what he did, though it was improper to do so. He was a Puppet of sorts for allot of years. If we ignore these disturbances of those who try to prove different than what WE believe, it usually goes away. For example..I do not believe in heaven for animals. Do you? What difference does it matter if you do, except for your self? It doesn't make me angry if you believe there is. Thats your beliefs. I will not try and prove otherwise.

Lying and hypocrisy are the greatest tools of xtianity. How else do you think that it got so big? No matter how xtians judge him...Hitler truly believed he was doing the work of the "Lord". I'm sure they hate that and would give anything to change that fact. What is most interesting is how they key on Hitler...when he is just one of many xtian and jewish leaders that went on a genocide spree. Have they not read their bibles? Their god commands them to wipe out entire peoples including the little children. It's nothing new....they just want to erase it and have a feel good sugar coated version to keep church attendance up and money dropping in the plate.

First of all Mein Kamf not all true of course. Hitler was in fact half jew half Christian. Do you really believe that Christians are the only ones who lie. Everyone lies it is human. No one would want Damer, Hitler, or other serial killers associated with them. So the real question is why are people spreading lies.
