Quote "Water + Electronics = buy new electronics
speakers probably no problem but if moisture gets inside amp it can fry it. Definitely find source of moisture, (rubber weather strip??) and repair before loading expensive electronics into the trunk. also, is speaker box wood?
wood + water = warped smelly wood."

Correct in every way, except speakers can suffer as well.

moisture alone cannot damage the amp and never ever the speakers.it theres water or leaking water source that will surely do.u must have written y this moisture due to.if its just about moisture in air that wont bother ne thing. the place i live usually have 100%humudity in air thats the max moisture in air, nothing happened past 3 years so i dont think u'll have ne problem 2

WATER + AMP=give yerluser a tight slap!
not at all bro..i'll say thats good coz amp heats up and moisture in air will help amp to remain cool.moist air means more density of air so u'll feel lil more bass coz higher volume of air will get pushed.person below me said u'll fry ur amp.give him a tight slap!!! had u ever seen any open amp?how can moisture enter into amp,ur not dipping in water!! all are sealed.aluminium is used for heat sinks thats it.they are made accordin to all situations ,i came 2 kno coz my bro works in jbl proffesionals so n joy ur monster system without any doubt..gud luck
