good day to all. i am 21 from davao city philippines. i have my longtime bf online from high level alberta canada. we're planning to get married this year. he is doing research about applying for a k-1 visa. i do have lots of questions and hopefully this forum would help. for those people who have been through this process pls gives us words of wisdom. how much would be the cost and the time frame for applying for a fiancee visa? about the plane tickets?yes he will visit me hopefully this april, how much would be the cost of the plane tickets back and forth? when he came back to canada what shall we do next and how much would it cost to get me here? pls tell me and advice us about what to do and share your experiences about visas. my bf is not kinda much money. could you provide also where he can have a great deal for tickets? any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i am worried over here and wondering what would happen. thank you very very much!!!! this will all depends on your BF finances and the completion of your application.. to tell exactly or to guess is not an option..there are many ways and solution.
first, if your bf could travel on low season, or find any discount tickets, he can save more. second, if he can go to places where Filipinos meet like church or community center, they could answer his question regarding tickets prices, for they travel a lot to visit families in the Philippines and probably know any friends married to Filipinas. As far as I know, not everyone who got married to Filipina came from rich family, but be aware that it would be very expensive and time consuming. When you arrive in Canada,you can both work out the finances, right? . you are very young, you can work later. Hope you will like it there in Alberta.

canada has its own rules. go to www.cic.gc.ca or for immg visa etc and www.international.gc.ca
