I ead recently that we should eat more eggs, if thats the case then poached are definitley better, those or plain soft boiled. No fat added at all. Poached eggs are gorgeous, add some black pepper and serve on thick sliced granary bread..........hungry now!!

Good for you
Eggs are an excellent nutrient-dense food that packs six grams of protein, a bit of vitamin B-12, vitamin E, riboflavin, folic acid, calcium, zinc, iron, and essential fatty acids into a mere 75 calories. Second to the lactalbumin protein in human milk, eggs have the highest quality protein of any food.
By poaching them you are cooking them in water and not using fat

Poached eggs are as healthy as boiled eggs. Eggs are high in protein and so they will fill you up and turn fat into muscle so they're pretty good for you, (unless you fry them or add butter to them).

Dam it, you've made me feel like poaching some, and I'm out of eggs.
Most eggs sold are okay for you, but terrible for the hens in cages forced to spend their lives in pitiful conditions.
I only use free range eggs, and if I don't see the hens myself, only if the free range conditions are monitored by the RSPCA.
