I bought my Sony Vaio in March 2006; people have been telling me that since it is still under warrenty I can get a free upgrade from Best Buy. Is that true?

Since it is still under warranty you can get a free upgrade from Best Buy.

If someone else said that to you then yes, it's true that PEOPLE have been telling you that, if NO ONE else but me has said that first sentence to you then NO, that part of your question is NOT true.

However I don't know if you really did buy your Sony Vaio in March of 2006, so I don't know if that's true. I suppose you could call them and they could look your name or number up in their computer system. Then they could tell you if it really is true that you bought your Sony Vaio in March of 2006, but that's ONLY possible if you know where you bought it, since people have been telling you best buy gives free upgrades, I'd call them first, maybe you bought it there!

What I read is that the free upgrade started from October 2006
