I have a 13 yr. old 90lb. German sheppard mix. He hurt his back last month and have been getting accupuncture, massage, heat blankets, pain pills, linament gel, increase in his vitamin supplements and custom made traction sling and a cart to help him move around. I give him raw beef bones with some meat on them they help with the bodys creatine. I wanted to know if the supplements would boost the process even more?

desicated liver pills. Full of protein and creatine producing ingredients. Cheap too. You can also try creatine by its self in small ammounts. Ask your vet.

Try joint rebuilding... I think it has glucosamine in it, ask your vet about it! It works wonders for older dogs to help get them moving alot better, it helps rebuild their joints and cartilage along with the discs in their back. Hope this helps and I hope he gets better soon!! I absolutely adore german shepherds!
