There is a guy that I have been seeing casually since the summer. I went to dinner with a couple of guys who are just friends. He wanted to know what their names were. Does this mean anything or was he just asking?

He acted like he wanted to know stuff about them.

It means he is still interested in you and is feeling a little over protective. Of course how much he is interested is up for debate. There is a small chance that he was just asking, but I am sure he is still interested in you.

Why don't you ask him if he would like to study with you or go out to eat sometime. If you keep it casual then he won't feel intimidated. Men do have fragile egos and fear rejection, so if the girl makes the first move it is a relief to most men. But, you have to be subtle about it, and when you want the relationship to progress then YOU need to send the signals.

Another hint: Men consider things like the first kiss as more of a goal to reach than a special event. So if you want your first kiss to be special then you need to set the scene and the mood. That way you both will enjoy it.

Notice how the women before me didn't think it meant much, but the men all say that he is still interested. The women are trying to help, but they don't understand that primal instinct that all men have which makes them always check out the competition.

He wants to know if you did anything with them, as he cares about you and is doing the stupid thing all us men do of asking about other men, even though we dont want the answer. Just tell him the truth and consider that he may well like you more than you think.

my idea is that he wants to know what kind of people you like to date so he'll know what kind of competition he has.
