Kindness is giving something to the needy.
Love is not going to war because your governments tells you to. You show love even to your enemies.

Kindness is an attitude. It's how you look at the world. Kindness is a person who will let someone in line ahead of them if they only have a few items at the grocery store, or gets up so someone else can have a seat on the bus. It's about truly trying to treat other people like you would want to be treated. It's about smiling at strangers, or holding the door for someone coming behind you. And it's NOT about what doing these things will get you. I hope this helps. My only other thought is that kindness is one of the things really missing in society today. Everyone is so caught up in "me" and very few people think about what others need unless they have to.

In my sense of view, as a Goddess-worshipping, Earth-bound Wiccan, kindness is the act of doing good unto others without first judging them by how they look, act, or what mistakes they have made in the past. It is the act of putting down all human defence mecanisms, such as judgement and hate, and just doing a kind thing when someone needs it.

Kindness?
Quite simply it is showing love in a practical way. Sacrificing something of the self for the benefit of an another.
Like, giving a poor man some clothes from your own closet.

Some parts of the bible promote kindness, and some cruelty. Morality existed before the bible.

I see kindness as doing something for someone in need without thinking about how it benefits you. Doing a good thing even if you don't get a reward. Helping someone have a good day even if your day has not been the greatest.

The ability to put another human being before oneself, that the result of ones own 'kind' action will benefit the other person with your complete blessing.

Kindness in words creates confidence.
Kindness in thinking creates profundity.
Kindness in giving creates love.
Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless.
Deeds of kindness are equal in weight to all the commandments.

Mother Teresa was a TERRIBLE example of kindnesss... Just read her bio for more truth about her and her evil charities...
Kindness is....giving assistance to someone while expecting NOTHING in return. Nothing includes: further donations and extorted prayers...
I give to my fellow man out of kindness and compassion to humanity. The Christian Childrens Foundation gives, but only if you say a prayer to Jesus first... Thats extortion. So, if you want to know how God related to kindness - he extorts it out of his subjects... Church members have to be INSTRUCTED to donate or tithe... whats that tell ya??
