Would this work out right?
If I boil pasta. Pu sauce on the bottom of a pan,add the cooked pasta,veggies/garlic,mozzerella cheese and sauce and bake it? Not baked ziti,there is no rigatta cheese.

I do it all the time. I only cook the pasta for 1/2 of the recommended time, then I mix it together with sauce, about 1/2 C water, and what ever else I want. Cover it and bake it. Yummy baked pasta.

I usually never put cheese into it. I'm Lactose Intolerant, so I don't eat much with cheese.

i would just put enough sauce in the bottom to cover, add your pasta veggies and the ramainder of the sauce ,cover and bake. add cheese the last 10 minutes of baking

Yes,don't add too much sauce,might be runny with no ricotta to stick it all together
