I love turquoise, with all kinds of brightly colored flowers, reds pinks, yellow, orange, purples, greens, it would be soo pretty! I am doing black white hot pink decorations, and If I weren't I would have done hot pink, purple, and lime green flowers probably still with black dresses, or bubblegum pink with hot pink and lime green....I'm partial to really bold, bright stuff especially in the summer time, I like things to pop and be eye catching. check out this site-its a index of floral sites with all kinds of bouquets, it may help you find color combos you like as well as help you when it comes to meeting with your florist, it saved my life!

Look at the beauty of The Lord's Hands. See what it is that your eyes keep looking at. Take a look at the colors outside. The grass, the trees, flowers. The oceans, birds, and the color of peoples eyes. Where are you going for your honeymoon? Maybe you could pick a color that will tie into that. If you are going to the Bahamas for instance.....try a tropical shade..... try putting two shades of one color together. A darker and a lighter. Why not. Enjoy it and don't stress....have fun. Summer reminds me of the gentle breezes of turquoise and warm sun-filled afternoons and the sweet smell of white Jasmin. Lemon aid and raspberry ice teas.Georgia peaches with creamy toppings.Lime Sherbert and strawberry's. Did that help a little. I hope so. If not it sure did make me hungry.
Best wishes to you both and may The Lord Bless you abundantly.

For a the summer wedding you can choose and enjoy all the colors of the rainbow .. from deep purples and reds and indigo's, since everything else is bright, and sunny and sharp, such bright colors will not get lost.. You can also go with soft pastels, soft pinks, rose and sky blue and with white they look fabulous, soft and romantic and so pretty for a summer day wedding..

What is your favorite color? Use it or some variation of it. It is your day there is no rules when it comes to what you want for your wedding. you can find just about any color you want out there. but do not let someone else (including your bridesmaids) dictate what colors you should have. They will a choose something different. If you want to ask someone talk to your finacee and maybe you can mix and use both of your favorites with the flowers and the dresses.

in case you like "fall colorations" then bypass with those colorations, yet do not do a "fall subject". August remains summer! i'm getting married mid September this 365 days and that i initially needed a fall subject, yet it is even too early. Fall would not initiate until the top of September and would not start to experience like fall until October! So do not be doing fall leaves, etc, pumpkins, fall stuff. yet by way of all skill any shade that does it for you is great! :) I study different solutions asserting definite do a fall subject, and that i'm perplexed. I stay in Ottawa, Canada, and it fairly is nonetheless heat in September, so I have not have been given any theory why it would be subject ideal to have 'autumn in august' it fairly is summer!!! lol

Wedding Color Forecast
Color.
I love COLOR!
I have done my research and oh what fun.
2007 will more than likely feature:
coral, melon, ambre, chocolate, pink, pool, peach, taupe, slate greys, light eggplant, aqua, light yellow, teal, magenta, rust, light eggplant, bright teal, dark golden taupe, citron, tangerine, amethyste, olive, ocean blue, and sage.
Fun and muted match perfectly with fresh and bold colors.
Let's take coral for instance. A lovely FRESH color. Paired up with a chocolate or DEEP dark chocolate is wonderful.
Slate and magenta. POP.
Taupe and olive subtle and soft.
I can go on and on.
Don't be afraid of color. Use 2-3 colors for your wedding. More would be busy. Two major colors and one accent color. Is just perfect!
Next time I will discuss *matching all of your wedding stationery*! LOVELY!

Black and white is okay if you get married in August, but really, I would have to say, don't go black and white, it has been so overdone. Go to the bridal store and see what colours are in stock, that is the place to pick the colours. There is not much point in picking colours you can't find, colours go in and out of style, just like everything else.

Summer wedding... whites, pinks, light purples, yellows, light greens, light blues.. look for airy and light... not bold and deep. Close your eyes and think of the colors that remind you of summer. Those are good colors to pick.

Summer is all about bright colors....you've got your blues and pinks....Yellow, green, purple. Anything goes for summer! Darker colors are more Fall/Winter.
