It's a great career choice isn't it? I'm in ROTC, if everthing works out, I'll comission as an officer. I love America, and it's a pretty amazing feeling that I get when I know of others who are willing to fight for this country in a way most people wouldn't-just like me. HUAA! Go Air Force!! i used to think the way you do. but i think you want to follow a good leader that leads the military. leaders can sometimes make mistakes and send the wrong troops to the wrong place.
i also wanted to join after college, but that was more than 10 years ago and we were in a different place. wait it out and see how the next presidential election turn out. be logical and rational, don't let your emotion overpower your decision making. there are many ways to serve the country you love.
