Well first to keep her from going potty all over the house you should keep her in one room or maybe in a kennel/cage, and definitely invest in pee pee pads, there the best, you can get them at petco or petsmart. And as far as the shots.... My vet never told me that, when Roxxie was done with her shots, I took her out the next day and nothing ever happened to her.... maybe I was lucky idk. After her shots you should take her home to rest and check the injection site to make sure she doesn't get an allergic reaction, mine was allergic to the bortedella nasal spray. I hope this helps and good luck with your new puppy, they can be a pain at times, but eventually they learn where to pee and where not to pee. lol

About how your puppy likes playing at night I would suggest that you play with her before you go to bed a lot. Play with a rubber toy or even a ball and throw them around the house. Give her a treat for the first couple times so she can leave that's what she has to do. All the dogs I've had got worn out that they would sleep all through the night.
I'd also suggest getting a book about your puppies breed. They help a lot.

There are other ways to wearing her down other than taking her on a walk. You can wear her down by playing with her, have her chase a ball or tug on an old sock. At this age she wouldn't want to go on a walk anyways. Have you thought about crate training her? It wouldn't be a bad idea since she's still really young. That way you can sleep for more than 4 hours at a time. Give her ALOT of attention when you are home. Give her some time she will accustom to the way you do things. But be persistant!

you need to start training her in doing her business somewhere whether it is in on the newspaper or on those training pads. if she does not do what you tell her, if she poops, rub her nose gently on the poop and firmly say "no" then if you see her going poop somewhere she is not suppose to pick her up and take her where u want her to poop. now once she starts to poop in the right place, for the first few times, give her a treat, because you are rewarding her for good behavior.
about taking her out or not, i honeslty always took out my dogs even when they were puppies. just a little bit outside with a leash, and then bring them back in.
you can also buy about yard of the fake grass and make her belive that that is the grass and she needs to do her business there.
about her waking you up in the middle of night, puppies are extremely playful. i have a dog 6 yrs old, and he sleeps when i am at work. i tried to go to sleep at night, sometimes i cant because that is when he wants to play.

Now i agree with everyone about the pee pee pads and i agree that if she does go potty rub her nose in it and pat her lightly on the rear then tell her NO firmly and ours never did completely get potty trained so we had to put diapers on her and she would not go in the diaper but if u took her out of it she would instantly go potty but now i remember that u wont take her outside i think u should let her go outside for just a lil bit since she don't have her shots but eventually she needs to go out on a regular basis now about the hyperness baby puppy's r very hyper i would suggest on wearing it out during the day and maybe shell sleep better plus don't let her sleep to much during the day that could also help
Good Luck with your new puppy!!

If you are scared about getting something that is fine, play games with her in your home, throw a little ball around or toy. That will get out her energy. Also best bet there are many excellent books at your local library about puppy training. If you want to get one to buy I would highly suggest this because you can refer back to it .Also a breed specific book is always nice, dogs are very different based on breed.

Your pooch sounds adorable and she is bonding with you very nicely. Yes I understand what your going through but it will be worth it! I have a great idea and I was in a similar situation so I can tell you what works well---- a playpen! Absolutely great, put a soft blanket in there and one of your old sweaters (your scent will make her secure) a few little doggie safe toys and she will love it.
I put my playpen in my bedroom so she could see me and left her in it sometimes during the day. It solved alot of problems and helped me a great deal and she was very content as well. Give it a try and you will be happy you did. Best of Luck to the both of you!

At night, put her inside a large crate in your room, that way she can see you, but not get out. If she barks at night, she will soon stop. Once she has learned that night is not the time to play, let her out of her cage at night, & she will have calmed down.
About the bathroom problem, at Walmart they sell dog pads called Pet Select Pee-Pee Pads, which attracts puppies to them because of the smell. I used them on my puppy during her shots, and she only went on the pee pads.
