I'll convert when the sun actually sets in a black (or muddy) sea.
Surah 18:86: "Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea, and found by it a people. We said: O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit… Until when he reached the land of the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people to whom We had given no shelter from It..."
Okay, I lied. I wouldn't even convert then.
*repents from my previous statement*

The truth according to whom? While I studied Islam and visited a masjid, a group of Muslim men couldn't even agree whether I should be lectured for wearing too much hijab (I liked the niqab) or whether I should be praised. What is the "truth"?
Thanks I'll stick to my Buddhism which makes all kinds of logical sense no matter which direction I logically analyze it from.

A lot of things stop me from converting to Islam. It is a faulty belief system that propagates violence and does not recognize that conversion by coercion is not genuine (and therefore meaningless). If a crime is committed against a woman, the woman is blamed rather than the criminal who committed the crime. It is also intolerant to the point of death regarding dissenting viewpoints. It is abusive to women & children. It is a male dominated religion giving higher status, priviledge and control to men. It frees men of accountability for their actions while placing the blame on women (forcing them to cover themselves because apparently men are unable or unwilling to control their basic behavior). It considers women to be like property, even promising them as rewards in the afterlife to men who are "martyrs". It is brainwashed into inviduals as children rather than allowing people to make up their own minds. It has held back societies in primitave warrior states and kept them from progressing or maturing. It does not recognize nor encourage free will, therefore it is a religion fearful of independent thought. It fears that independent thought would expose its flaws.
Those are the highlights. If I were forced into the religion, well, let's just say I could hide a lot of weaponry under one of those bhurkas.

Islam is anything BUT the truth. I would deny it even if I died for it. Jesus Christ is the truth, and I will NEVER deny him.

I can't deny the truth: Islam is evil. 9/11 proved that. Go to any mosque and listen to their hate speeches -- brainwashing kids to blow themselves up in order to kill other human beings is the ultimate in evil. I will never join myself with such filth.

Islam is an affront to human dignity. a violation against human rights.
The Quran consists of early Arab myths, wrong historical and scientific statements, violence, discriminating of other religions.
Mohammed was violent and greedy, he married his adopted's sons wife and a nine year old girl. He was not worthy to be a messenger of God.
Anyone should be ashamed to follow a Man like him.

The truth is that Islam is of evil origin. God who is perfect did not get it wrong the first time.

Um, all the violence and intolerance practiced by Muslims.
But mostly: Allah has 99 excellent names, right? But Love is not among them. Muslims do not have a personal relationship with Allah. It is strictly judicial. Allah forgives all previous sins when one converts, but after that it's up to you to make sure your good outweighs your bad, right? Isn't that why so many Muslims blow themselves up; it's a guarantee of Paradise?
But the God of the Bible is Love (I John 4:8, 10, 19--read the whole chapter). Our good cannot outweigh the bad because the bad must be paid for, not outweighed.
Since God is infinite, our offenses against Him are also infinite. We can never pay for them. But He LOVES us, so He sent His own Son to pay for our sins. Now we can be saved by accepting Jesus' payment for our sins. We can have a close, love relationship with a God who is infinitely good.
Why would I want to trade that for a religion where I do not have a relationship to the god and must earn my salvation?

AsalamuAlaikum Sister, and MashaAllah welcome to Islam! :) Now, to respond to your Q, i be attentive to it's going to be troublesome for you, yet you ought to no longer provide up. And a minimum of your attempting, which itself is an outstanding accomplishment. could Allah bless you. Ameen! the difficulty is that i grew to become into born Muslim, and nonetheless did no longer used to wish until eventually i grew to become into like 12-13, some years in the past, yet as quickly as I did start up, then yeah, it grew to become into troublesome on the commencing up, yet now i are turning out to be used to it, and this is rather no longer that puzzling. once you awaken in the morning for college, what time is it? as quickly as I awaken for college, its approximately 6, so I first pray Fajr ,and then i'm getting waiting. I pray Zuhr as quickly as I get lower back from college, yet while there's no longer time left by skill of the time you get residing house, then see in case you will discover a quiet spot on campus the place you may pray. And if even that may no longer a risk, then i assume you will ought to wish Qada afterwards, yet that ought to continuously be a final motel. in the adventure that your place in time for Zuhr, then your probable additionally residing house for Asr, so which you would be able to pray 4 Rakat Fard, and then get lower back to analyzing, and in the adventure that your nonetheless on the college, then i assume do comparable to you may for Zuhr. Maghrib is likewise a quick prayer, so it is going to no longer take better than approximately 10-15 min to wish, so InshaAllah which would be hassle-free for you. And Isha, whether is the longest prayer, i think of this is the least puzzling, for the reason that there's an prolonged time in which you would be able to pray Isha. only save analyzing, and once you have studied adequate, then until eventually now going to sleep, only pray first. All together, the 5 prayers do no longer take very long to wish. 6-7 min for Fajr 15-18 min Zuhr 7-8 min Asr 10-15 min Maghrib 20-25 min Isha approximately an hour entire. this is rather no longer that lots. to renounce only an hour out of the 24 hours for Allah looks so little, do no longer you think of. after which you have 23 hours do do each and every thing else: consume, sleep, study... could Allah make it hassle-free on you and save you in His Imaan, continuously. What stops me??? I'm Jewish...that's what stops me. Why would I want to join a religion whose purpose is to wipe me and all my people out? In 1917, T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) said:
"So long as the Arabs continue to fight tribe against tribe, so long will they remain a little people, a silly people, greedy, barbarous and cruel." And as we can see from the news, it's 90 years later and they still are barbarically slaughtering each other in Iraq, in Palestine and in Lebanon. Are you crazy?
