Walk the dog (picking up after them of course), take the kids, have a picnic, feed the ducks (although not bread to baby ducks as this isn't actually good for them), have a walk....

Just a few suggestions - depends really on what sort of park.

Addition....

Well if it is Bradgate Park....my fave place in the whole world,......

With a youth group try things like rounders in the big area between Newtown Linford and the ruins, hide and seek between the trees, deffo a picnic, take some sketch materials and do some drawing of Old John, the deer, the ruins - everything, take some nets and go betting in the shallows, fly a kite, leaf rubbing with the many varieties.

I love Bradgate Park!!!!!! Live in Anstey I do!!! lol

Things that I know of that go on in parks are this:

swings
roundabouts
people sunbathing (and burning)
teenagers drinking
teenagers having sex
teenagers doing drugs
teenagers doing graffiti
Seesaws
people walking their dogs
people stepping in dog poo
old people sitting on park benches eating sandwiches and drinking tea out of a flask
Chavs wearing loads of bling intimidating the kids
mums walking with pushchairs
duck pond
people throwing away an old sofa
public toilets not fit for use
local cricket team clapping slowly
local football youth team spitting on the grass
everyone playing tennis during wimbledon then giving it up
old people playing lawn bowls
young kids crying after they fell off the climbing frame
drunks with a can of Super sitting on the bench
tramps sleeping on the bench
Gay men hanging around the toilets looking for some "fun"
Joggers wearing Ipods
groups of weird looking people doing tai chi
twitchers with their green jackets and cameras getting excited over the birds
local council guy with a sad look and cigarette hanging out his mouth
local community service offenders replanting the floral borders.
kite flyers
kids on scooters, bikes, anything that moves

The park has an old historic tower dating back to medieval times and has lots of deer and other small wild life roaming around it. Ideal place for a picnic or some games if your group are young children. Hope you enjoy your holiday.

Depends on what time of the day you are going, and who you are going with...If you are just going with some buddies expect to play football or something....If you are going with a girl, as in like a date...You might just have a picnic, or take a romantic walk....But this park you are going to isn't a theme park right? its just a regular park with a playground and stuff right? be more specific

I'm the kind of person that runs around the park like a complete nutter, then I go on the swings, it makes me feel like a kid again =)
