What accent color are you using. Any color can look good just as long as you accent it well with furniture, art, and trim.
GOOD LUCK!!!

I just painted my bedroom (lots of natural light) a v. light moss green and it looks great with white trim paint and white ceiling.
I going to do the dining room same colour, with a white ceiling, the windows are a natural wood trim. It faces north, so not much light, but I am confident it will look nice v. white or beige.
There is a web site provided by Better Homes and Gardens www.bhg.com and they provide a test area where you can select colours and apply them to walls, etc. on your computer. Gives you some idea of what your room will look like.
Good luck.

My dining room is as green as this tool bar here and it looks absolutely beautiful. It is trimmed out in a very light green. It is my favorite room in the house. Good Luck

Yes. Here's another kind of green for a dining room. Go for it.

That sounds nice. It's a nice calming color, therefore you will feel comfortable in the room for longer periods of time ( if you have a dinner party) yet another color that would be nice is a deep red. That is supposed to entice the eating sensations people have. I hope this helps you out.

I think moss green is a very nice colour but if you were to have some cream as well it would look even better.

Light green/soft green hues are very calming. The color will brighten the room.

It sounds like a really nice color. It should work well with wood furniture. I'd use a fawn brown for accent pieces.
