It's safe but that doesn't mean it fixes all of one's sight problems. From people I know that have had it, a few have needed to wear reading glasses, while a couple of others see perfectly now.

Everyone's eyes and surgery results are different. I've not read or heard of anyone having an adverse or unsafe reaction to the surgery.

Hmm...perhaps because they are farsighted and this is for nearsighted vision? And too, there could be any number of conditions which would rule them out as being a candidate for the procedure.
