HELLO....................... Birth control pills to prevent puppies NO.....
Get the dog to the vet and have her spayed THIS IS the only way.
Never heard of birth control pills for dogs..........Even though it sounds like a good idea. I am surprised that there isn't a pill for dogs.

Go to your vet and have her neutered. It costs less than $100, and for a female, it's probably a one day or overnight stay. The dog will have little or no side effects, and vets do this procedure routinely. If your dog does get pregnant because you didn't do this, you can easily spend more than the $100 on puppy checkups, etc. Plus, there are way, way too many unwanted pets in the world. Do yourself a favor - get this done.

Good News! February is national Spay and Neuter Month. Many animal clinics will be offering FREE spaying and neutering through the month. Contact your local ASPCA, Humane Society, or animal shelter, and they should be able to get you where you need to go. Hopefully, you realize how important it is to spay or neuter your pet, not only to control the pet population, but also for your pet's health. Did you know that having a female dog who is not spayed increases her risk of developing certain reproductive cancers? Good luck!

Realistically the best thing to do would to get her spayed, it is a procedure which is performed to prevent puppies, Its not too expensive and would be a lot easier than giving her pills, for she would no longer need to have them. To many pills may have a bad effect on her in the long-run so please take my advice and have her spayed

She needs to be spayed, birth control is for humans, we are genetically different. Also, if you are thinking that getting her spayed is to much money, there are things called neuter scooters, or spay clinics. I would always consult your Vet, about the integrity of a spay clinic,or neuter scooter, they are not going to lie to you, they usually understand that sometimes you can't afford there prices, they may even set up a payment plan with you. Also don't just let it go, even if you don't get her fixed, she may get out to try to meet a male dog or the males may come to you and plus she is always going to bleed. Best bet is to call around to Vet offices to get pricing, hopefully that helped. Best of luck!

Get your dog spayed. Being a responsible pet owner is to keep your dog up to date on shots, provide food, provide training, provide exercise AND GET YOUR DAMN DOG SPAYED!
