I am not racist in any way shape or form ,but am increasingly concerned over muslims taking over britain.They should be greatfull to come to this country but no they are bent on causing problems by trying to get us cristians to become them .why dont they just go do there own thing in there own country it seems the only reason they come here is to sponge from this country.Allways ask for a reciept for your fuel from a muslim garage as if you will notice they will not offer you have to ask.This is another way they can rob this country by giving the reciepts to muslim buisneses.I was in support of labour and i know i am a good person but these muslims must go or i am voting bnp very soon.

if we were in there country we would respect there values ,so why is it they can not respect ours

My family are good brithish people who are well respected in there town it seems that they to are now against islam and find it to be a fowl brainwashing believe.I also see that the people of this land are starting to see what is going on and are starting to stand before it is to late people dont know but the muslims split india up by there cowardly way by entering the country and shouting there mouth of .Sihks are good the hindu,s are good muslim must go they have to much to complain about .

Its an interesting point you raise. I think a lot of tension that Britain (and other immigrant centers in EU) ae facing with muslim-nation arrivals is caused by a 2-way lack of assimilation practices- Muslims want to keep to their own and sometimes place a higher premium on Islamic law/practices than the secular laws of the land. This is clearly wrong and fuels suspicion which can quickly morph into hostility.

Secondly, by very dint of the shared cultural/ethnic history of European nations, assimilation of different ethnic groups becomes a little difficult, which also alienates these groups- lending to the vicious cycle. Its nobody's fault- its just that the cultural and psychosocial climate in 95% of the countries around the world are not perfectly suited for rapid assimilation (the way we here in the US do so beautifully). When I travel to magnet cities in Europe like London or Paris, I see it as a "mosaic" of different ethnic groups that are civil to each other but observe marked social boundaries.

The example you indicate shows how this can go bad under the proper circumstances. I also do agree with you that the absence of cultural reciprocity in Islamic nations should be addressed if that "ethnic solidarity" angle is being played up among immigrant groups from these countries.

Get this straight - Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists can be of different races. Everyone should have the right to choose their own religion. You're not a racist, but you might be a bigot.

Everyone to their own, but you do get fed up of hearing about Islam single day. if living under Islamic law is so brilliant then why don't Muslims that want to live under it go to a country that has it. You don't hear of other religions moaning all the time, Muslims that just get on with their lives must be fed up with it like the rest of us.

Secondly you mentioned something about immigrants milking off of British society. I work for a local government and we have a big problem of immigrants not taking money they are entitled to. For example carers allowance for adoption/ fostering, housing benefits and so on.
