honestly, its only a low speed TCS based system. it uses the ABS sensors to detect a large speed difference between the wheels and hits the brakes on the wheel thats spinning too fast to counteract it, putting a buncha strain on your ring gear.

the best way to test is to find some ice, and punch it. if you hear the shuddering sound from hell, you have it. if you just slide, then you dont. my 97 vr6 luckily didnt have it.
