I have many, but Psalm 23 is just one of my many favorites. It's also one of the best known.

Also, Psalm 34:17 is a short verse from the Psalms that is constantly in my mind and heart: The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 121 is a great one!

I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

I have quite a few that I like , but it always comes back to psalm 23 for me. It has a special meaning to me and was my dads favorite also. The last days of his life, he spent at home on a breathing machine. He went into a coma one time and I stood at his bed reading the 23rd Psalm, because I knew he liked it. God blessed us by bringing him out of that coma and giving us a chance to get all of our goodbyes in. That was just around Christmas and he passed over on new Years day. Yes, it will always be my favorite, Psalm 23.

Almost impossible for me to single out only one, as God speaks through the Psalms to so many aspects of my life:

Psalm 23
Psalm 27
Psalm 32
Psalm 73
Psalm 103
Psalm 119
Psalm 130
Psalm 131
Psalm 146

Are all incredibly dear to my heart, and I'm probably leaving out another 10 or 20 as this is just what immediately comes to mind with this question.

Great, great question. Best to you and God bless.

Psalms 130
Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice!
This Psalm is also known among Catholics as the 'De Profundis', and is often used in prayers for the dead.

The one where William Shakespeare signed his name. You have to look closely, but if you read the whole Psalm, you will see his name.

I am sorry but I don't remember which Psalm it was.

Does anyone doubt that Shakespeare was one of the folks who translated the Bible into English?

Does 1611 ring a bell?

There are several but I love the 100th Psalm put to music.

I like the 22nd Psalm for its message.

Psalm 133

A Song of Ascents, of David.

1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Coming down upon the beard,
Even Aaron’s beard,
Coming down upon the edge of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon
Coming down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing—life forever.

WOW there are way too many to jut pick one but I really like PS. 63

O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.

3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.

6 When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches.
7 Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.

9 But those who seek my life, to destroy it,
Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword;
They shall be a portion for jackals.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God;
Everyone who swears by Him shall glory;
But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
