I know a friend I used to love him much but he said he likes me – after some time he asked me to be his girl friend.
I said but u do not love me.

Where is it written that you have to be in love with someone, just to date them? The process of finding out about another person, seeing if love will grow, is what dating and courtship are all about.
To him, a gf is someone to spend time with, get to know, see if there's enough in common to maybe establish a long-term commitment. Give him a chance!

Do you have to love someone to go out with them. If you are too heavy coming on at stage one it might scare the bloke off. He wants a giggle first and see what happens later on. Dont most girlies go for this rather than going to step 10 first?

Why does he have to love you before he dates you? He can't predict how you two will do once you start a relationship and already you are bombarding him with love. Just date, go with the flow, have fun and see where it takes you...just like he suggested.
