Low calcium levels can also be the culprit, especially if you notice other facial twitches and/or tingling around the lips/fingers.

Get your blood-pressure checked. It could also be a sign of some neurological disorder so don't shrug it off! Or take every one else's advice and stick your head in the sand and assume it's "totally normal" - why bother checking with a doctor, what do they know anyway? I mean, all they have is like 8 years of training before they can start practicing medicine - don't listen to them, take advice from these clowns in Yahoo instead.

Hah yea they are pretty annoying and they feel really wierd! I get them too, and I get them in other spots too, even my feet! But don't worry its totally normal! I got pretty freaked out too, at first I thought it was becuase I didn't sleep much the day before but it kept going even when I had a lot of sleep. I remember reading an article about it
and they said it has something to do with muscles under it. They don't know what cuases it, but a possibility is lack of excerise but don't worry, it is totally normal!

i get that when I'm rrrreaaallllly tired, like super tired and/or stressed. take a day off to vegetate, sleep, it'll do you some good, or take some time during the day or evening to rest or sleep a little more.
