and no, historically there are thousands of claimed gods. that were made up to explain things in the natural world.

You're assuming that there are thousands.

People throw around the word logic in the strangest places. I must have missed the logical succession of reasoning in your question. There have been thousands of made-up gods throughout history, therefore all gods are made-up. Yeah, that sounds like logic to me.

Does it mean anything to you that the Jews were the first nation to believe in ONE, all-powerful, all-knowing, invisible, incomprehensible God instead of a pantheon full of lifeless statues. Any LOGICAL person would find that worthy of deeper investigation.

Why, when surrounded by pagans and their philosophies would one man suddenly come to the conclusion that there is only one God and be so convinced about it that he would leave his home and country to follow this God through the wilderness?

~ There is only One God, and He gave his only begotten son to die for the sins of this world. ~ Just how does this world respond to him , with hate, evil, idols, failares and countless other things. But Praise God he is coming soon to take his ppl home . Will u be going home with him?
