Boxers grow differently than other dogs. They grow up till about 2 or 3 years then they grow out and start to get broad.
It sounds like your puppy is very healthy. You want the ribs to show a bit and you should be able to feel part of the vertebrae when they sit.
Keep monitoring through your vet. They didn't go to school for nothing.
Good Luck

Sounds to me lik you're doing everything right. As long as her ribs aren't sticking out a lot, or not all the time, she's about the right size. A fa puppy isn't a good thing either. She will eventually grow into her body as long as you keep up with the good food. If you're really concerned about it, you can try upping her food a little, say maybe a half cup extra once or twice a day (hard to say as I can't actually see her).

if the vet says she is healthy don't worry to much....make sure you are feeding her the right amount and keep an eye out for diarrhea or if she cuts back on what she eats these would be red flags for you that something is wrong.....look on the web for boxer information and talk to breeders.......boxers are just very thin dogs and if you fatten her up (even with the right heart which you seem to have) it may be bad for her.....she may get to fat and that is bad.....make regular vet appointments so that you know she's in good health

My boxer is over two years old and we can still see his ribs as well. His food bowl always has food in it. We keep it full all the time and let him eat when he wants. On top of that he gets treats throughout the day. You have nothing to be concerned about. Enjoy your precious boxer.

There is a dog food called Hi-PRO by Purina... its awesome! Its high in protein so it will fatten her up in no time... then when she reaches the weight that is suitable then you can switch her back the what you want her to be eating. This worked on my german shepherd! And keep in mind that if you are to spay her then she will gain weight after that also... Hope this helps!!

Don't worry if your vet told you she was healthy then they meant it it would be extremely unhealthy to try and fatten up your pup. pups grow at a very fast rate and when she stops growing she will then naturally begin to gain weight as long as she is happy leave her be

i would give her multi vitamin everyday so you know for a fact that she is getting what she needs, if she doesn't eat it plain dip it in peanut butter, they love that. i would also get some dog gravy and put that in her food it has alot of vitamins and minerals. good luck! give her a kiss for me! i love boxers!
