Just asking. Not a troll question, a legitimate question. Doing a yahoo search on "god gene" this is what came up,

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=god+gene&fr=yfp-t-501&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8

There are 7,910,000 websites that address that, a "god gene".

So, I ask again, is there a difference between Atheists and Theists at a genetic level?

And no, this is NOT a troll question.

Seems unlikely -- the genetic makeup between theistic and atheistic parts of the country isn't great, but other socio-economic factors are hugely different.

Generally more educated and economically affluent people are less religious. They're going to Hades. Isn't that special?

i become going to say that I doubted it, yet on condition that that is a foul call and honestly refers to a conceivable genetic predisposition to being extra open to the mystical/religious, i might want to work out the way it will be authentic. i think that as with each and every issues that's no longer only a case of genes and/or surroundings.

I would say that a good part of it is, in so far as those who are atheists probably are not as susceptible to 'magical' thinking. However I am sure there are many believers who are also wired up this way but are member of religious groups for other more societal reasons.

It may well be that some people are more genetically inclined to believe in god.
Weird, huh?

It seems this gene is repsonsible for the mystic experience and why only some people have it.

doesn't seem like it. the gene "refers to the fact that humans inherit a predisposition to be spiritual" which doesn't necessarily mean they believe in 'god(s)'. one can be spiritual without a belief in god and one can have a belief in god without being spiritual.
