Filling things that they sell at drug stores? It looks like putty or something...does that work if you are having pain from a crackes tooth?

they work as a temporary fix until you have time to get to the dentist.
Be careful using it though because if the tooth surface is not clean you can trap food and bacteria in the crack and cause a cavity or infection
