No way. That's not God. That's man trying to scare people into believing. And it works.

Bible does not say there is a place of eternal suffering this is another man made idea and not of the Bible at all. God created Hell as a place for Lucifer to rule and have Power of his own and to give Lucifer what he wanted. A throne above the Sons of God, he also became the author of Lies, deception, sin, and death.
Principally Satan received his reward and the angels that followed him got exactly what they wanted a kingdom outside of God's kingdom. People that want to go to hell get what they want.
Look how many here profess to be proud of where they are going or say Heaven and Hell do not exist at all.
Hell will be destroyed by fire, but to say or teach eternal hell is to say people and angels that go to hell have eternal life and principlally only the angels that did not fall and Children of God have eternal life not the children of darkness.
Hell is a place that is forever and ever, but the meaning of this word is a space of time in Greek. But Hell and Death get thrown into a Lake of fire where eventually will be consumed, but the Hell and death is thrown into is an eternal fire so that Satan can hurt people no more as in this age we live; Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Now remember the lake of fire is a eternal fire and is a memorial of this time but everything burned inside of this lake is not eternal and will be detroyed after a long period of time.

I think everything is not to be taken literally. I don't think there's a hell of Flemming embers and melting people, just an example as to what would be the opposite of going to heaven. Get it? The fact that you seem to word "worshiping" in the way that you do indicates a problem with authority and following the rules, not religion at all. No offense.

God didn't "create a place of eternal suffering" for man but for the rebellious angels led by Satan. If we choose to follow him rater than God our destiny is the same as his.

Ofcourse. If God didn't make a place for eternal suffering, all the bad people would go to heaven. They don't deserve that. God is just being fair.

One should envision one's Gods as being at least as good as the best human beings. The best of us would not damn people for eternity for an honest difference of opinion or because they liked to drink beer and get laid. The best of us would not set up eternal torment at all. The modern day Christian concept of God is less worthy than the best of his admittedly very imperfect human creations.

well, God never intended for anyone to suffer or to go to hell. The world is the way it is because of satan. God offers everyone a chance to go to Heaven. Hell is not meant for us, it was strictly created for satan and his demons. The devil was once in Heaven, but was kicked out. God doesn't want ANYONE to suffer. He said suffer not little children to come unto me for such is the kingdom of god. (may not be word for word, but, you can get what I am saying).l

Where does it say that he created eternal suffering??? We do that as humans, as sinners, as people making choices, & as descendants of Adam.
We were made to worship...To worshop the God who created the heavens and the earth.

Nope. Especially since if you aren't subservient and don't worship this alleged God, you're punished. That sounds like slavery to me. Do this, or else... My free will doesn't allow me to bow down to threats. Therefore, a tyrannical God who forces people to worship him (insecurity?) isn't worth my devotion, love, or respect - let alone worship.

Absolutely. That is the only God worth worshipping. Why would you want to worship a wimpy god? When Jesus comes back to get revenge, the entire world will tremble. Jesus will rip the unbeliever's hearts out. It will be glorious. And we Christians will all be brought back to observe his glory and to laugh at the pitiful heathens as Jesus rips them to shreds.

he created a perfect place. The problem came when satan became jealous and sinned and brought 1/3 of the angels with him. He was banned from heaven and came down to earth and tempted eve when eve sinned and adam sinned the world became a sinful place. God couldnt have destroyed us and then made a new world because the angels would than fear him and would believe that satan was right that God was unfair. So God let them live and later Micheal who is God's son decided to come to earth and die for our sins and became Jesus fully human and fully God, and died so that we could live. Need to discuss more e-mail me!
