YES YES YES!!! I have a 15 month old and she has had a runny nose for a few months. It is very normal, especially if they are in daycare. They are building their immune system up and getting stronger. I have taken my daughter to the doctor so many times and they say babies can get on average 10 colds a year, and even more if they are in daycare. It can seem a lot like they are constantly sick because once they start getting over a cold, they get another one. I really wouldn't worry unless her mucous is green or really thick, then the baby may need something to clear it up. But always ask the doctor if you are worried. They can at least give you peace of mind! Good luck!

Absolutely babies can get colds. Check to see if she has a fever or temperature above 98.6 F. If so you need to give her the tylenol for babies or motrin for babies. When children have fever they are miserable. Giving her meds to reduce the fever will help her be able to get some rest. Rest is important in the healing process. Also look for other symptoms....like runny nose, coughing. She may need some type of cough medicine. Just make sure that you treat only the symptoms that she has.

Yes babies get colds, even younger than her age. Go to the drugstore and talk to the pharmacist about getting some cold medication for her. Keep her warm and make sure she gets plenty of rest and fluids so she will not become more ill than she already is. Take her temperature to see if she has a fever. You may have to take her to the doctor. She could have an ear infection too.

Yes, and you're lucky if this is her first. An average, babies have 4 colds per year. Tylenol makes a cold medicine for kids this young, just check with her doctor on dosing since she's under 2 years old.

babies love their noses. you know how you can play that game where you're like "gotcha nose" and its actually just your thumb through your hand. they think thats so funny, but they really like to get their noses back.

sometimes noses like to get their exercise and so they'll run a lot. you're daughter probly cant keep up with it, and thats making her cry because all she wants is to have her nose back.

you can buy some good nose traps at walmart. they wont hurt the nose, just catch it, so you can give it back to your baby

yes, babies get colds too, i was told they could get their first one as early as 4 months. It could be a cold, or an ear infection, or she could be getting some teeth. You could use some baby tylenol if you think shes in any pain.
