At my wedding my husband danced with his mom to A Song for Mama by Boyz II Men. It is a nice song but I will say this....afterwards my husband said by the time the song finally ended him and his mom both commented how long the song was. So apparently the song might run on a little long :) hehe
I picked it so I guess they can blame me--I love Boyz II Men!

My husband was in the same boat...He didn't really want anything sappy and something that was easy to dance to.

His mother happens to love Elvis so he ended up choosing "The Wonder of You" by Elvis Presley.

It's not a typical "mother/groom" dance song but the words are still very fitting for a mother

How about Boys To Men - They have that song that was about the movie Soul Food. It talks about them loving their mother and appreciating all that she done for them. It is slow so no real hard moves to learn, good message for mom to hear, hip so people will know he's up on what's hot and Boys To Men - you can't go wrong with that.

I would recommend "Mama" by Boys II Men. You can find it on the Soul Food sound track.
