My wife has thick frizzy hair, not thick as in "full", thick as in one piece of hair is thick. I really brings her down, she wants to wear her hair down but can only put it in a pony tail. She's tried straightening it, but it just makes it "poof" out. She uses "Pantene Pro-V" shampoo and conditioner. She thinks the reason her hair is the way it is, is because when she was a kid there was a kid in her elementary class that always had head lice, so she was always having to treat her hair with that pesticide shampoo. Is there something she can do to make her hair that smooth and shiny kind of hair. She wants be able to (if she wants to) just brush her hair in the morning and go to work, instead of spending an hour every day putting stuff in her hair trying to make it stay down. The main thing she uses is "Paul Mitchell, sculpting foam".

I have the same problem and It took a while for this to work but it eventually started working. I use Pantene Pro vieve restoratives frizz control... it is six dollars a bottle but well worth it. Then I use the thermasilk leave in conditioner about three bucks and a bottle lasts for ever. Then brush your hair after you put in the leave in conditioner let it air dry and keep brishing every once in a while while it is drying, then I straighten my hair and it is soft and straight and not very frizzy I love it!

Well "bed head" does a vierity of products for frizzy hair. Paul mitchell is only good for people with staight hair. : ) Also get proper nit shampoo or herbal essences.
Hope this helps.

Since school her hair would have grown out I don't believe it is the problem. Products don't help. If she hasn't got time in the morning, before she goes to bed try using a hair straightner It works for me.

ok so i propose you are trying 2 or 3 issues... First issues first try PANTENE professional-V FRIZZ administration... this often works to maintain the firzz out besides the undeniable fact that the could be yet another tale if thats purely part of ways your hair grows... yet another ingredient you may try is getting your hair chemically straightened it is going to dominantly make your hair extra managable besides the undeniable fact that in case you are trying this you shouldn't wash your hair as plenty mabey like as quickly as a week (friday)... after chemically straightening your hair in case you experience your hair continues to be too thick... bypass to a hairdresser and ask in case you may get a thinner decrease or so... besides the undeniable fact that as quickly as you get your hair chemically straightened im useful which you will discover although thick it is going to experience healthful and the thickness of this is purely quantity somewhat than napps and it's always plenty extra user-friendly to administration... once you get your hair chemically straightened you shouldn't dye it for extra or less 2 weeks in case you have anny plans to accomplish that... washing isn't very nessecary for a week and the chemical compounds often stay on your hair for extra or less 2 months (maxish)... so in case you dont like the chemically straightend look and your hair is growing to be out you wont might desire to the touch it up purely shop using the pantene and detect a cute coiffure that iwll artwork for the hair by using fact it is going to likely be nappy on the basis...(in my opinion i choose for a scene look whilst my hair gets nappy on the basis) and bypass... then after a month or 2 you will see that if there is a thank you to get the relaxer bumped off out of your hair... idk i hear there is a thank you to accomplish that yet im uncertain how that works...

Straightening - did you go to a salon to do that? Cuz straightening hair at home or go to salon is different, a good professional salon can do a good job. Also if you can trim layer your hair and then have a straightening should be ok!
