They may be crying out for help. Each person deal with life in their own way.You need to take anything like that seriously, because it is serious.

What you say is not neccesarily true. First of all everyone who asks a question is asking for attention. An answer to a question is some form of attention so don't single out those who ask about cutting. Secondly, some people would be proud of it. They might think that it proves they are strong or resilient to pain. Personally, i think there are people who ask questions about cutting in the attempt to truly gain some truthful answers and to feel like they aren't the only ones out there who do it. There are also probably people who don't care about the answers' contents just the fact that there are answers. Try to be more open minded, opinionated people are great as long as they aren't opinionated in a biased way.

Every situation is different, so I can't say who actually did it and who didn't. But the need for attention is normal for all individuals, it's just that some choose more unusual ways to get it, it's unfortunate, but i don't blame them, i try to understand them.

The reason for the person doing that is a cry for help. They obviously want help because they are asking for it. Sometimes that is the only way people know how to get help.

most people who are "determin" to kill themselves start giving away stuff before they commit the act.
i agree with you, they are looking for attention, someone to care and perhaps listen to what they have to say and hopefully get them on their side to reaffirm their belief.

I think if you are telling people about it, you are looking for help. Nothing wrong with that. It's better than hiding it.
