because people are forgetful, and interpret based on their life experiences. supernatural beings do not have flawed memory, and have a purpose that never gets side tracked by TV, porn, fast food, sex, lies from the pastor...

It started back in the Bible. Lucifer was an angel who worshiped God, then he wanted to be God and deceived many angels. So, God kicked him out of heaven with a third of the angels (by the way, angels are innumerable so that means a 1/3 of an innumerable amount). That's why they know the Bible, it's God's word and they know God. (I guess that's proof to those who don't believe that God told man what to write in the Bible, it is NOT man's idea of what God wanted.)

Demons know the Word better than us humans because they (before the fall) were angels. Therefore they were exposed to the Word and have every knowledge of it. It is foolish to believe that demons don't have knowledge of the divine power and existance of Christ, their downfall lies in their inability to accept the power of God as greater than themselves (or to accept servitude to humanity, which they view as lesser than themselves)

They've had plenty of time to study it, and they have strong motivation for knowing it because it comes in handy in their deceptive schemes.
