No, you aren't a pawn of Satan nor will God punish you for watching a Potter movie or reading a Potter book. Most folks who condemn this sort of thing have never read, watched, or listened to anything dealing with Potter other than their own hatespeech. It's folks like that who give Christians a bad rap.

I love Harry Potter. I guess that would make me a pawn as well. It's funny how the people who speak out against it so much are the ones who haven't read the books or watched the movies.

Nope, and most who suggest that know nothing about Harry Potter other than that fact he is a wizard. Some people really like to over think innocent stories and movies. These days it seems you could suggest there is something satanic about everything you just need a few supporters and before you know it bambi well be considered too!

Well that is the whole point of Harry Potter movies, get the kids worshiping Satan while they are still young, builds brand loyalty and then the ultimate show down....Armageddon!!!!! Now that's a strategy with staying power! What a great marketing team Satan has put together, I wonder if He had help from Bill Gates people?

Of course not. Plenty of Christians have seen the Harry Potter movies, including several clergy members I know. The people who are afraid of Harry Potter (and subsequently, of all books or films requiring the use of one's imagination) tend to be right-wing extremists, and do not represent mainstream Christianity in any way.

Satan doesn't like Harry Potter. Lord Voldemort is more his type of guy. (But we all know that Harry is going to triumph in the end,
so Satan doesn't bother with the whole thing)

Not saying God will punish you for watching it but it is based upon witchcraft which is of the devil. States it here
Galatians 5:19 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Of course not. Salvation is not based upon what you do, it is based upon what Jesus did for you.

Now, on that note, if we love Him (Jesus), we will honor him with our lives and actions.

It's true that Harry Potter is only a movie depicting witchcraft. Which does not honor Jesus (the witchcraft). Witchcraft is real. Just realize that.

Well, one of the crazy ladies in the movie Jesus Camp told the *kids* that harry was satanic and if he were real he'd have to be killed.

Maybe you should watch Jesus Camp instead.
