it won't install for some reason! I do what it asks, but it doesn't even show!The download process starts. During the download, a progress window lets you know the estimated time remaining for the download to finish. The download can take anywhere from a few seconds on a fast Internet connection to half an hour or more on a very slow connection. Once the download is over the installation process will start automatically.
That doesn't show.

Check your Add remove programs for files that Are installed, since it may have installed.
Also, see if the Java program is listed in IE, if it is then it has installed; See Tools and that first list may say "Manage Java Options" if not go to Internet Options, check advanced, and then see if the Java , both MS and SUN are listed

don't install from the internet.
first download it then run it
have you enough space in your harddisk

java is not a small program.
You have to wait until it finishes installing
