If by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

If within those 3 weeks you DID NOT make over $600 then they are not obligated to send you a W2. When you go to file your return, your last pay stub from that place will be sufficent. Technically employers have until the 31st of Jan. to have your W2 postmarked.

Yes you will get one but companies have until 1/31 to even send them out.. if you dont get it in a couple of weeks I would start calling the company.

yes you will get one, the dead line for company to issue w2 is end of january. so if you still have not receive one in mid feb, call your employer

Yes, you will get one. They have until January 31st. Also if you have moved addresses since then, make sure to give them a call because sometimes that will not forward.

the W-2 has to be postmarked by 01/31 but depending on your mail you may not see if for a week or so after that

They aren't required to mail out the form until January 31st. It wouldn't hurt to call them to make sure it hasn't been lost in the mail or anything.

You should get one even for that short of time............they have till the end of January to get it to you. If you do not get it by then, contact them and ask for it.
