Wow! Good question.

There were many scrolls rejected by the Religious leaders in 325AD.

My Favorite scroll is "The Gospel of The Essenes"

(I mean my favorite scroll of those which were rejected.)

Search "Essenes"

. (This question really brought out a lot of viewpoints. I am flabbergasted.)

Jesus is God so yes is the simple answer to your simple question.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is alive in that it is the spirit filled, spirit breathed, living Word of God. It is all about Jesus and your relationship with him.

Without knowing Jesus and being filled with the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) you can never know the truth about anything.

I will pray that you come to know Jesus and ask him to be your Lord and Savior.

God Bless.

The bible says that if everything that Jesus said was written the earth couldn't contain it. We go by what is in the bible.

Darvus,
I am certain that you do not even remember what your great, great grandaddy said and if so it has been changed with every generation. We study the inspired Word of GOD, not some half-truths that are passed on by others. I am certain that Christ said many things that are not recorded. We have a GlImPsE of HIS LIFE not a full account of it. That would take a million pages for the 30+ years of HIS LIFE, DuH. The BIBLICAL accounts are certainly thorough in their description of everything that should be important to us. HE was sinless... That says it all. Have a great day.

It is simply called the unwritten word, and has absolutely no factual proof that Jesus ever made any undocumented statements, there are many catholics that believe he did, I for one that is catholic do not, because it was man that wrote these so-called unwritten words not Jesus.

JOHN 21:25

25 ¶ And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

John said that there was no way he could write down all of Jesus teachings. But we have what we need.

The Bible is complete and contains everything you need to know for salvation. Anything else used as religious references, creeds, etc are works of man and are not to be followed.

"This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Matthew 15:8-9

We are warned about adding to and taking away from the Bible which includes man-made traditions.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:18-19

Lots of things were removed from the bible. Let's say that, as a child, he tripped and fel and got a bloody knee. I wouldn't say "Oh, pain" I'd be cussing my brain off.

Not if it conflicts with their preconcieved notions of what is true and what is not. Same thing with scientists, though. You won't hear about the electric universe on space.com. It's all about gravity = mass over there.
