So the person smiles at me, teases and what not... Then before going out he puts on the best jacket to "look 100% perfect" (his words) and when I roll up my eyes after hearing that, he replies - "Oh, not for you!" - smiling. I joke back and leave him with the others. Then our all bunch of friends go to the resaurant, where he buys food for JUST me (though there are other girls), and again teases. Then he says that he feels sorry for me because he's horrible and terrible. (which is actually not true). After that my jokes turned out to be really sarcastic that he even went like "What's up with you today?" And after that he came over and put his head on my shoulder as though for comfort...
Well, that's it then... I am just a buddy right? And we both act like schoolchildren? 8-)

It sounds to me as though he is thinking a little more into it as just friends. He has a crush on you and doesn't want to come right out and ask you out, so he is trying to hint it to you by doing these things. He wants you to know he likes you more than the other girls and wants to see how you feel. If you want to just be friends you just need to send him the we are just friends signals or just come right out and tell him that. Set him straight and not hurt his feelings.

Well how old is he? That doesn't really matter because he must be a shy individual when it comes to relationships. He's playing games to feel you out and see if you have any interest in him. This will continue until A) he gets enough courage to ask you out or B) you tell him you're not interested in dating and he backs off and wants to become you friend because he thinks you're really cool. Either way he's just playing to get a vibe from you.
