Religion in a sense of a belief system. Not neccesarily in a particular deity.

I guess philosophy would have been a better word.

Well no, but I do think you might be right in calling it a philosophy. It's more than a look, it's a mindset and a way of looking at things. It's a way of seeing the world as a dark and yet beautiful place. Or at least, it began that way. A lot of younger goth kids don't necessarily have the same outlook, and for them, it IS just the clothes and the music. Nothing wrong with that, but there is a marked difference between those who were goth when it started, and those who are goth now, thirty years later.

Think of it like hippies. In the sixties and seventies, if you saw a hippy, you probably had a pretty good idea what they read and what they thought about politics. Now, who knows? There are dozens of reasons one might be drawn to the aesthetic.

yours is a pretty confused question, but i think the correct answer is no, it's not a religion.

goth is a term used to describe a way that people dress, music that they listen to and a way of comporting themselves.

i have been to many music events over the past 15 years, many goth - never have i seen a fight at a goth event - the same can't be said for biker events or other kinds of parties and or concerts.

goth is no more a religion than 'preppy' or 'jock' is a religion, it's just a style...

It is the teenagers trying to rebel and fit in so a bunch of them dress a like, talk alike, and try to believe in the same things so they fit in, it is the cool kids of the anti cool kids clique, not a religion, I think they look so cute on queen west trying to freak people out, now it has become mainstream with cartoons like Ruby Gloom, the cutest little goblins.

Nah. What do they pray to? Not even a cult, really, unless there are some more extreme people taking it to a different level.

It's a lifestyle, just like office-preppy types have, or super-jocks, skaters, band geeks, etc.

Not really. it's just a group of rebellious teenagers that extends into adulthood. I dress in black, too, but I don't do the whole face and finger painting, or the leather stuff. I'm more metalhead, which has literally a freeform dress code.

No.
They are not worshipping any one god or group of gods.
Goth is a statement/a lifestyle/a style, but not a religion.
What makes you ask?
