Christianity is an evil religion full of evil people
A cruel man believes in a cruel God, thier God is probably also a liar judging by the excuses christians contrive.
I hear the excuse not a true christian, but it seems christians are in denial that others of thier kind can cause such problems. Its a case of christians not accepting thier own, which by the way, causes more hatred and division among christians, because they like to be snobs about it, rather than admit something is wrong with thier religion and its practices.

Christians are not united in one belief any more than Republicans and Democrats. Many people have ideas about what a Christian should be that are plain wrong. For instance some believe a Christian should never be angry, in a bad mood, have a headache and should be nice, nice, nice.
Everyone is on a journey, even Christians and are in different stages of growth or understanding, thus there are differences.
Many take the name Christian to lure others into their twisted political aims.
Thus, you cannot judge Christianity by Christians. Judge it by the Word, what it is supposed to be. Christians are just people, not saints, not Jesus Christ. They have faults and sins like everyone else. That does not dilute the message of Christianity.

In the first place, a TRUE Christian will never be scum or be called scum by another TRUE Christian. Or use degrading and derrogatory names about anyone, fake Christians or not for that matter. If they're living morally corruptable lifestyels, then they're not TRUE Christians anyway. The TRUTH to a NON-Christian, a child of the "world" unwittingly participating in the "LIE OF LIFE"; lawlessness, sinning (disobedience of God's Commandment's, statutes and decrees), is not in them. They despise the TRUTH! It pierces their soul like a double edged sword. Darkness CANNOT "understand" the Light. They are "unwittingly" serving the "god" of this world, (Satan; "The Tempter") their father. Who controls and manipulates their thoughts and visions with subtle messages of selfish desires, to lust and to envy "without conviction of truth". Their lives revolve around self righteous motives of greed and the pride of life only to pacify their inability to "understand" the REAL and only reason why they exist. TRUE Christians don't play games. They LIVE their FAITH. It's only FALSELY converted people (who "think" and say their Christians but their not) that have never FULLY AND SINCERELY accepted Jesus Christ into their lives and "come out of the world", (you CANNOT serve two masters) who still live in the "swirling cesspool of morally corruptive behavior" (scum) and connot admit it to anyone else because they themselves are unaware and are STILL a "child of the world" unwittingly participating in the sinful ways of the world ,"THE LIE OF LIFE". So what it boils down to is this.....A TRUE Christian won't degrade anyone, Christian or not, and a "FAKE" Christian don't realize their fake and to refer to another fake who is living the same way they do as, "scum", (morally corruptive behavior) would mean to expose them and the mask of lies THEY hide behind!! There's your answer.

Resorting to lies and cowardice? Lay off the coffee man! True Christians do not make it a habit to show their butts. That does not mean that they are perfect or that they don't act like scum at times. Also when someone generalizes, it sounds very uneducated.

There's an old saying, popular in the South: "Just because a cat has her kittens in the oven, that doesn't make them biscuits."
Or, if I say that I'm a Democrat but consistently vote Repulican, am I still a Democrat?
There are minimum standards and requirements to be a member of almost any group. If you don't meet those requirements, can you still be a true member of the group, no matter what you call yourself?
I can call myself Napoleon, but I'm not. And if someone doesn't fulfill the requirements of being a Christian by obeying what Christ taught, they are not Christians. John talks about that very thing in this passage:
1John 1:6-7 "If we claim that we have fellowship with him but keep living in the darkness, we are lying and the truth is not in us.
"But if we keep living in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin." (ISV)

because it is not a cop-out.
many who call themselves christians come nowhere close to actually being Christians.
I know more than a few men who have started "christian" churches purely for the income.
they call themselves "chtistians" but no more believe in the deity of Christ than muslims do.
I can call myself "Spanish", wear Spanish clothing, develope a Spanish accent, eat Spanish food, speak Spanish, live in Spain, and go to lots of bullfights.....
but, if my father is German and my mother is Italian.....
I am NOT Spanish.....
although I may have convinced the world that I am.
your question makes you look worse than you
make out those TRUE Christains to be for telling the truth. the concept is not that hard to grasp.

Some people, me included, are Christian, but don't really care what religion people are unless they express their views on you, and in return never show their opinions
Some people believe in spreading the glory, and anyone like me isn't a 'true' Christian, because we speak to people who are not Christian, and we don't go on spreading the word.

We measure everything to Jesus. So that is why you get the (true Christian) statement. Truth be told I have never met anyone who has achieved the rank of true Christian so I have to agree that it is a cop out. There are many people who are being conformed to the image of Jesus but then again we are all in different stages of transformation.

Some use it as a cop out but the majority of the time it is true. If someone wears a white sheet over their head and burns crosses in people's yards, I don't care if it sounds like a cop out - they are not Christians. If you have people like Fred Phelps who is out protesting soldier's funerals because he believes it is the wrath of God on America, I don't care if it sounds like a cop out - they are not Christians. And when you have people that constantly live a lifestyle that is contrary to Scripture, it doesn't matter what they call themselves - they are not Christians.
