I don't think there is anything wrong with pre-marital sex (as long as you're not my child or course). But I do think 16 is to young. Personally for me it's not about being legal or illegal, but rather worldly experience and maturity. I'm not saying you're immature or that a 16 can't be mature, but I think there are a lot of relationship types to experience before making them sexual.
A high school relationship is great, but most of them don't last. I had plenty of girls tell me they were 'in love with me' when I was in school, but when it ended they never seemed to have to much trouble finding another boyfriend. High school love is not the same love you are going to feel when you're 25 and thinking about marriage and a family. When I was 16 I thought it was just like every other kid, but now that I'm 31 I know it wasn't the same game.
Dating guys in high school, dating guys in college, and dating guys post college all have something different to offer. The more time you give yourself the more mistakes you'll miss and the more you'll appreciate yourself for waiting. Hind-sight is 20/20 and we don't know we make mistakes until they happen, but sometimes we consider doing things and down the road we're happy we waited.
There is a lot of pressure out there and you don't need to to fall prey to it. Remeber, if someone says they love you, but would break up with you for not having sex with them were they ever really in love with you in the first place? And if someone tries to tell you that you don't love them because you won't sleep with them, then what are they really after?

I think you should wait. That is something so special to share with someone but I think you should KNOW he is the one. Girls these days dont seem to care who, where, when, any of the details and I think that you have to have some self respect about yourself. Kudos on still being a virgin though. I know 12 year olds who are not! Way too young. You need to look at the long picture. When you have established yourself and can support a baby on your own, then its okay to have sex. There are too many kids having babies and there parents are having to support them. I think thats wrong. Also, think about what your parents would say about it!

I believe in waiting till marriage. At 16, all relationships don't last. When I was 15 I was with a guy for 2 years even had a promise ring. Thank God we did not do anyhing, beacause at 2 1/2 years, he wanted to see other people. I waited, and am thankful everyday.
Now adays one can never be too careful, with unexpected pregnancies and sexual diseases it is better and healthier to wait.

You're 16, you don't have a clue about what goes into a long term relationship. I'd almost bet that you won't be with him in a year much less two years. Trust me, you need to stay a virgin (there aren't that many left) and take things nice and slow. You have your whole life to work things out and settle with someone you'll really love.

Honey, you don't know it now, but being a virgin is beautiful, but you will only realize this later in life. When you mate with a man you become one. Sex is a serious thing. You want to make sure you do it with the right person ( hopefully your husband).
You should wait until you find your husband.

Sounds like he is trying to get the year to be here sooner by including the "talking months" too. haha. Men are just sly like that. I would say go with your heart and do what you feel is right. Who knows....some guys have been known to dump their so called girlfriends after they get laid. Be careful.

i know it feels like your relationship will never end, but the likelyhood of it lasting forever is probably VERY slim. please don't throw away your virginity at such a young age, and on someone who may not appreciate it, try to wait it out longer.
