If you dye your hair you have to use 20 volume! It is the only volume that will cover grey (with a permanent haircolor), if you want to blend it out without completely getting rid of it Redken has a line for men (gel color) that takes about 20 minutes (a service provided at salons) that will minimize the grey! Some people go grey premature due to genetics, etc! I think Grey is distinguishing but you are only 26 so I see your concern! 20 volume is the solution! I recommend having it done at a salon that way it is timed, mixed, and applied properly :)

i cant see how dying it would affect the growth, the growth is affected by things going on inside your body (stress, alopecia etc).
Theres no way to stop the grey, you can only colour over it sorry.
Go to a salon and ask to look at a shade chart, then find the shade thats closest to your natural colour (not the grey). Or you could try and blend in the grey with some blonde highlights, that would look quite funky, good luck!

My entire family is prematurely grey (my brother started when he was 14, one of my sisters when she was 15). Simply let it go grey, and enjoy the novelty.

If you really are too vain to do that, try Grecean Formula--it's supposed to work. Don't know, since I don't use it or dye my hair.

Use a better dye that won't affect your hair growth.

Some people actually do this on purpose. Make it yours and uniquely you. Have cut to enhance or color in areas to enhance it. It will have a cool dramatic effect.

i kind of have the same thing going on and i just embrace it.I figure it's better to be salt & pepper or even all white/silver as long as i still have all my hair.I'd be more bummed if it was falling out.

Other than coloring, there is nothing you can do about premature greying of the hair.

Go all white or platinum with a funky cut/style - the color - it's you, work it!
