It defeats the whole purpose of TRIX cereal. This isn't COCOA PUFFS!!!!

I have no idea, but that sucks a lot and they might lose some business. I babysit a lot, and part of the excitement for kids when they have some TRIX as a snack is picking out the grapes, bananas, oranges, etc.... the different cute lil shapes.

In Canada there was both available at the same time. I guess they went with the type that sold most! Or else the profit difference was much between them so they went with the original. Oh by the way Coca Puffs have come out with Cocoa Nuggets..( they are chocolate little Shreddy-like nuggets that taste somewhat like Kitkat.. got some in my cupboard right now!... they're gggreat!!
Oh maybe Lucky Charms complained about Trix having more than 1 shape when Lucky charms is the 1st cereal to have more than 1 shape!

Trix have always been puff ball shapes. If anything, they briefly changed it into fruit shapes. But, now it's back to the normal way.

Probably because someone somewhere found the shapes to be a choking hazard!!
Or, its because they are easier to manufacture as puff balls--the same way how I remember them from back in the 1970's!!!!

you got a point there. i dont really think the puffs are very smart, i mean, yea they need a change but try a different flavor, not the shape! for crying out LOUD!
