Personally I never delete numbers, even though I know I'll never contact my ex again and doubt he'll contact me!!
What about everyone else? Would you keep your ex's number even if you dumped them?
Just curious....

Hey Alison! Nope, I'm a sensible girl, no drunk dialling for me! Just went through my phone and realised I never bother deleting numbers - I don't keep them for any particular reason.
Just wondered if anyone else was as disorganised as me, or whether people deliberately hold on to their ex's number!! x

Nicole, are you the kind of girl who likes to drink and dial? Will you do something a little silly at the end of a drunken Sat night? Then your answer is yes! Erase the number! On the other hand, i've kept my ex's number, we had a long relationship that ended quite amicably. We don't speak anymore, but why not keep it?!

Once I break up with a girlfriend and she is official an ex girlfriend, I toss everything out of the window in which it includes her telephone number that I had jotted down in a telephone directory.

Depends on the guy,if we were close and could stay friends then i'd keep it because its always nice to know you can get in touch, if on the other hand i want nothing to do with them i'll delete it because id be afraid of texting or calling when i shouldnt

I keep them so I know that the reason I'm not calling is because I choose not to call them rather than because I can't call them. I'm the sort of person who always wants to do things more if it's not possible. It gives me back a bit of control over the situation if I *can* call but decide not to.

I just deleted serveral today ( lucky you got me to reply). The time when I am searching through names was getting like the Yellow Pages, delete, they know how to find you if they want to.

I'm the type that has to get rid of EVERYTHING that reminds me of my ex. Everything has to go. I've even been known to throw away a ring with diamonds in it. Not give it away not sell it but threw it away.
I say DELETE!

Depends if it was a bad split delete the number, if it was a mutual split you can keep them as a friend.
