I have naturally curly/wavy hair too, so I get where you're coming from.

While out shopping one day I stumbled upon

It's cheap, and it works for me. My waves turn out really nice when I use my LaCoupe mousse. Another thing I love about LaCoupe is that the curls dont turn out hard and damaged like they do with regular mousses. LaCoupe is about 7 dollars though. if you use that after your shower and put a bit of hairspray or hair glue after to reduce frizziness, your hair looks really shiny and nice.

the absolute best is the new brand just coming out called ORGANIX. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it won't dry out your hair...and it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types all with different fragrances. You'll be able to get Organix in the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, Harmon, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

I love biologe but it is a bit expenisive...

Sally's Beauty Supply has a knock off called Biotera (which is what I use)

AND even Suave makes a Biologe knock off, its only like $2. Biologe conditions very well and smells AMAZING!!!

Dove is good. I'm using Sunsilk at the moment and it is good also. I think Dove is the best for curly hair, and it isn't too expensive.

anything by motions. if you have ethnic hair, you want any shampoo that does not contain sodium lauryl or anything remotedly like that. these dry the hair. you also do not want to use any products that have alcohol in them, they dry the hair as well
