They are not different churches per se, they are both Catholic and they both worship the same Christ and have all the same dogmas.

The churches are named after different events, miracles, saints, etc.

For example, the Basillica of the Holy Blood is a Catholic church so named because it contains the cloth used to clean Jesus' body after His Death.
The Church of San Pietro In Vincolli (translated: Saint Peter in Chains) is so named because it contains the chains used to bind St Peter before his death.
The church of the Immaculate conception might be called that because of special inspiration from the Blessed Virgin Mary. Same goes for any church named "Notre Dame"
The churches devoted to the infancy of Jesus might draw their inspiration from the miraculous birth of Jesus.
The chapel at my college, the Chapel of Christ the Teacher, was called that because the focus was on the educational aspect of Christ's teachings.
And the Church of the Sagrada Familia (Sacred Family) focuses itself on the entirity of the Gospels.

All these churches, despite their names and different inspirations, are the same Catholic church and share the exact same beliefs and practices.

Jesus was completely human and completely God at every moment of His life from conception to death on the cross.

It is completely legitimate to worship God the Son at any point of his human life, as an unborn fetus, as a new born baby, as an infant, as a child, as a teenager, or as an adult.

If Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the Magi can worship baby Jesus then, biblically, so can we.

With love in Christ.

There is only one Jesus.... and he came to the world as a baby, he grew up, He died and he resurrected.... There is no reason to worship infant Jesus! 'cause he didn't stay like a child, but people likes to believe in thinks they don't even understand!! Infant Jesus isn't anything but a representation of Tammuz, son of Semiramis and Nimrod, and all of them are pagan characters, if you take a book and you investigate you'll find that a lot of things that catholic church does were practiced in pagan religions, and still are!
But Jesuschrist is just one... and the only one we should adore!

I'm a practicing Roman-Catholic, and I don't know, what you say, to be true. What I do know, is that, we believe that our savation is through Jesus Christ, sometimes the priest's make reference to the infant Jesus(around Christmas time). but I've never had to go to a separate church to here that message.
Check your source of information, and reconsider it.
God Bless.

Got only one good answer for your question,

Catholic Church teaches its members to practice idolatry.

There are only two religions: (1) the Truth of the Almighty, as expressed in His Word, the Bible; and (2) every other belief.

The infant Jesus gets loud and fussy. This can create disturbances when people are trying to pray quietly.

Fortunately for us, the grown up Jeusus church is just next door.
