In Catholicism, there is a tradition known as Daily Office or Canonical Hours ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daily_office ) While this is highly ritualized and thus some Christians might find it anethema, when I was a Catholic, I found it to be a deeply moving and touching experience.

Doing morning and evening is all many lay Catholics do, those who do Daily Office at least. Doing just morning or evening can be an experience as well.

The books can be a little pricey but trust me -- totally worth it.

If your looking for something on-line, you could subscripe to one by JoelOlsteen.com. I get this everyday and really enjoy it.

Daily Bread also has good short devotions that they will mail you free of charge. I've used this in the past and it's good.

Read the Psalms. Divide it up to do all 150 in a week. Use a version meant for singing. Sing them if you can.
Get this version: Psalms. Grail Translation from the Hebrew.

"Sparkling Gems from the Greek" by Rick Renner is a good one. Deep and thorough!! It's quite filling! You won't walk away hungry.

Also Watchman Nee's "A Table in the Wilderness" is good.
