~So many people are so shallow. They do not understand the religion of Wicca, and instead of looking into it they are quick to judge it.

Wicca is an earth based religion that honors the male AND FEMALE aspects of GOD. There cannot be a world without both the male and female, so why must God be wholly male? The bible says witchcraft is evil because the men that wrote the bible did not know what it was. They knew that witches raise energy to help make things happen (spells) and they didn't understand it. But the LAST thing wicca accepts is the devil.

Wicca is a beautiful, loving religion that is tolerant of everyone Else's beliefs. the most wonderful part about Wicca is that you can create your own tradition which means you can incorporate Muslim aspects into Wicca. It is up to you to search your soul and find what you can truly believe in. Every religion is very personal, so you have to find your path on your own.

A good place to start would be to read as many books on Wicca and witchcraft as you can. "Wicca for Beginners" by Thea Sabin, and "Living Wicca: A further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham are GREAT books to start with.

By the way, being a witch does not have to mean that you are Wiccan. Wiccans PRACTICE witchcraft but the two are not synonymous. "The only Wiccan Spell Book You'll Ever Need" by Marian Singer & Trish MacGregor is a great book to learn about being a witch. The internet bas a plethorah of great sources, just do a search for "Wicca." All of the above books are availabe in Barnes and Noble, and most other books stores.

Good Luck and Blessed Be.

Wicca is a religion, just as Islam is. And just like any religion, being good or bad depends on what you chose to take from the religion. So yes, you can be a "good witch," just as you can be a "good Muslim." It's all about being a good person, no matter which god you pray to or whether you pray in a church, mosque, temple, or grove.
Study up on Wicca, and ask yourself if any of the fundamental truths conflict with the truths of Islam - you'll probably find that most religions are about peace, love, and being nice to other people (even if some nuts try to turn it into an excuse for war and hate).

I am simply amazed at some of the answers that you have received here. There is so much hatred, that it is hard to believe. You cannot be a Muslim and a witch at the same time. Islam forbids witchcraft.
But who says that you cannot still follow Allah?
I think that it is absolutely possible for you to worship Allah, and practice the Craft at the same time. You just cannot say that you are a Muslim. I know that there are people who call themselves 'Christian Witches,' but I don't think that they can really be Christian and Witches at the same time. They can, however, still hold the love of Jesus in their hearts. You do not have to give up your God to accept the Craft. In the end, though, it's your choice. I wish you the best of luck!

I have a friend who is catholic (practicing) and wiccan, so if she can justify her two beliefs I dont see why if you read and learn about Wicca and believe they fit you shouldnt either. However before you decide if you can be both you will have to learn about both.

The most important thing to do is read as much as you can, one f the first things you will probably learn is that there is no such thing as a god witch or a bad one. There are things like the Wiccan rede and Three fold law that will explain this. I am right at the beggining of my path though and cannot find anyone who will actually reccormend a good book/s that will explain the basics and then expand into detail.

you do no longer want an initiation, yet you probable won't be able to call your self a Witch good off. that's a direction of diagnosis that desires to be cultivated. try Christopher Penczak's the internal Temple of Witchcraft. that's an exceptionally sturdy start up in gaining information of to administration your physique's energies and working with the energies of the Earth and the climate. together as Christopher is Wiccan, the sequence isn't extraordinarily for Wiccans. There are additionally some sturdy classes in Dorothy Morrison's The Craft: A Witch's e book of Shadows. i think of that's geared in direction of Wiccans, however the workouts in it are super. Scott Cunningham is extremely useful and you will only forget approximately correct to the non secular element. i've got no longer examine Aleister Crowley's books approximately magick, or perhaps nevertheless he grew to become into extremely foul as a man or woman, we can nonetheless study from him. you additionally can want to look into quantum physics to assessment the mechanics of magick. sidestep Silver RavenWolf. She's only stupid and does not look to understand the working of organic energies. Sorry if it is frequently a repeat of what I emailed you. Silver, do no longer answer a query you be attentive to no longer something approximately. adult adult males are Witches. Warlock skill "Oath Breaker." Wow a number of those solutions are uneducated! revolt against Jesus? you ought to be born a Witch? Are you adult adult males intense?

No, I am afraid that to be a witch, you must give up your Muslim beliefs. I have done allot of research on the subject, and the true definition of a witch is someone who practices magic as a religion. If you wish to remain a Muslim, and practice magic, perhaps you should consider Wizardry, which requires no religious commitment.

a cute Pagan maxim ...

"all women are witches. men have to work at it."

i don't know if you can reconcile being a Witch and a Muslim. you might have to chose. i don't know much about Islam but it does appear to be a very male dominated religion. Pagan religions generally see their male and female deities as being co equal and some place the feminine energies above that of the male.

IMO women are better off in a religion in which their femininity is allowed it's power instead of being subjugated by a He god.

PS. these folks claiming that witchcraft is evil and Pagans don't believe in God are either liars or grossly misinformed. do your own research. don't let their fear tactics dissuade you from exploration.

A witch is usually a follower of Wicca, which is a different religion. I doubt you can be a muslim and a witch, but I probably wouldn't be the person to ask.

Maybe you could be both. I don't know Islam thoroughly enough to say if it objects.

The Wiccan Creed: "Do as you will, as long as it harms none." If you are a good person, treat others with care, and don't deliberately cause anyone harm, then you're fine.

Good witches are good people and bad witches are bad people... it's as simple as that.
