I've Learned that God is a man of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and often 5th or more chances. That I can still have deep faith in God without reading the bible every day and faithfully attending church 2 or 3 times a week. I've learned to be spiritual and embrace the world around me.

Another lesson I've learned is what a person should leave behind after they die is something that is not engraved in stone monuments, but a life worth living woven into the lives of those around us.

It's hard to fly like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys.

When in trouble,
when in doubt,
run in circles,
scream and shout!

A clean desk is the evidence of insanity.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again in the same way and expecting different results.

In all seriousness, I prayed for patience and the Lord gave me children. I prayed to be compassionate, and He granted me wonderful friends that epitomize compassion. I prayed for love and He gave me the most wonderful, kind, ethical, moral husband I could ever imagine. I prayed to be more like Jesus, that's still a work in progress.

I have learned that most of the things I feared didn't happen and the ones that did happen were much less frightening than I'd thought.

I have learned that I don't know very much, really, and that it is a delight to continue to learn.

I have learned that my fellow human beings are, in the main, fascinating and mostly delightful people, once I get to know them.

I have learned that I'm not important enough to be unhappy.

The hardest one is that things will get better, even when you think they won't. Don't sweat the small stuff because the little things don't matter. And no matter how many friends you think you have, don't expect them to be there when things in your life fall apart. Trust your instincts because they will rarely steer you wrong. Faith is the key to making it through this life. And last, but not least, our parents are a lot smarter than we ever gave them credit for.

Live fully in the present moment.
Be thankful for what you have.
Tell those you care about that you love them and be kind to them.

Before you know it you will be old and physically unable to do the things you once did and people that you love will be dead.
Take time to Smell the Roses, and truly live while you are living!

A cat will almost always blink when hit with a hammer.

Love is a very powerful force. Even more so when it's focused into a coherent beam of destruction.

Don't eat the yellow snow.

Three lefts make a right.

Why do now what you can put off till later.

You don't spit into the wind.

Everyone has dirty laundry, but don't hang it on the clothes line for all to see.
