I am 3-4 weeks pregnant with my x-boyfriends child. We obviously didn't mean for this to happen but it did and I can't change it. How can I *gently* tell him the news?

Now why do you need to worry about telling him "gentle" that you're pregnant, you wouldn't be if it wasn't for him, so don't worry about his feelings right now, you're the one that's pregnant.

Sex=children. If you didn't mean for it to happen, why were you having unprotected sex in the first place? But you're right, now it's done. You will be bringing a real person into the world to face a life without the support of a mature, two-parent household. There's no way to break the news gently--was it gentle for you when you found out? You have to be straightforward, and be prepared for some drama-"It's not my child." You have just changed the course of your life forever. I wish you the best of luck.

I would tell him straight forward. Tell him how you feel about it, and that you and your ex didn't mean for it to happen. If the guy is really into you it might phase him little but he will look past it and think of it as something new for him to be involved with.

cook an excellent meals or casually invite him over, tell him you need to talk and simply ask if he is ready for a family. if he says yes tell him your wish has been granted. or if he says no, tell him
"well now you have one" and alway keep a smile on your face.

Just tell him. And tell him soon. Dude deserves a right to know, and you can't give him any guff if he decides to bail...... which he will.

You don't. You get an abortion and forget about it and try not to let that happen again.
