If you want to know about abortion, homosexuality, Jesus' miracles, etc., how do you find the answers in the Bible?

Sorry, Zoila. I am not interested in advice from Jehovah's Witnesses. I study the Bible only.

I like to look up the different subjects in the link below. Just enter a specific word for references accompanied with Bible references.

Now, in regards to 2 Timothy 2:15....let me do some home work. But the book of "2 Timothy" is actually a letter. Timothy wrote to the congregations with corrective measures, advise and great guidance so that all the congregation leaders would be in accordance to the new laws and principles Jesus left them.

A bible concordance can solve this problem, Strong's Concordance is excellent, so I've been told.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. This is from the NIV version.

Nish's translation: Because you are the temple of God and that your works and your actions will be viewed by people, do your best to first become a sacrifice to God, meaning that you'll give up certain thing that will hinder the glory of God in your life. You can't minister to others and spread the good news about Christ and you still lie, cheat, do all kinds of ungodly things. This does not limit your mouth from talking about God, but it limits the spirit of God to use you for His glory. The bible says that He that cometh to God must come believing that He is, and that He is a rewarder to those that diligently seek Him. So make it an urgent duty to seek God, so that you can go out into the world, not ashamed of God and His calling He has over your life. So that when you go out in the world, you are equipped with the Word of God and your assignment He has given.

Buy yourself a Bible Index.

2 Timothy 2:15 is Paul telling Timothy to know his Scriptures, so when he tries to quote them, he'll know where to turn and not be left re-faced.

I apologize that I can not answer the second question but the first: you should find a Strong's Concordanance and it lists all of the words in the Bible and where they are. hopefully this helps.
